Proofreading
Proofreading involves basic correction, and helps you to create a professional document. Producing a document with incorrect spelling, grammar and punctuation can leave your reader with the impression that you're "unprofessional". Don't let this happen to you! It's quick and easy for me to check your work and make the necessary changes for you. I can also suggest changes to the layout and format for easier reading. |
Copy Editing
With copy editing, I will do a bit more to help you with your document. In addition to basic proofreading, I'll make suggestions for different wording, layout and structure to make your work “flow” more easily. I may suggest moving paragraphs or sections around; using headings or sub-headings; adding footnotes or references; or even just changing your fonts and line spacing. All of these can make a big difference to the way the reader receives and absorbs your content. |
